Celosia

Celosia argentea plumosa
An annual reaching up to 4 x 1.5 ( record is 7 x 2 ) feet. Great for use in landscape borders and in pots.
The leaves, up to 6 x 2.5 inches, are luxuriant mid-green.
The plume-like flower inflorescences, up to 9 inches in length, are yellow, orange or red. The flowers are borne all summer long.
Thrives in full sun on just about any fertile, well drained soil. Prefers a warm site and is drought tolerant. Plant during spring after threat of frost has passed.

Fairy Fountains
Similar but dwarf in habit, reaching only 1 foot in height.
